These six details lead to higher fuel consumption, and the last one is the most difficult to be
Some friends in my life will say that these properties of my car are not bad. Why do people drive with low fuel consumption? It costs me a lot of oil to drive. Besides the reason of "God’s right foot", it is also related to driving habits, car use and car maintenance.
1. Bad driving habits
Bad driving habits have a great impact on fuel consumption, especially in the case of traffic jams and lane changes, and the phenomenon of sudden acceleration and sudden braking is particularly common.
In addition, some novices are prone to make the bad habit of driving at low speed, so that the mismatch between gears and speed can easily increase fuel consumption.
2, add the wrong oil
There are some car owners who don’t know whether it is to save money or to add the wrong reason. They originally added 95 # gasoline but added 92 # gasoline.
The label of 92 or 95 gasoline shows the anti-knock performance of fuel more. The larger the label, the greater the isooctane content, and the better the anti-knock performance of gasoline. The filling manufacturer suggests that the label gasoline can make the engine play its best role.
When a car using 95% gasoline is added with 92% oil, the high-pressure oil-gas mixture in the cylinder of the car will be ignited in advance, and knocking will occur. The vehicle will show problems such as weak engine output, vehicle jitter and increased fuel consumption.
3. Insufficient tire pressure
The loss of fuel consumption is largely used to overcome various resistances. The tires inside are directly reflected. If the tire pressure is insufficient, it will increase the contact area between the tire and the ground, increase the friction, and increase the resistance. Moreover, this will make the tire wear seriously, which will lead to the tire slipping and increase the fuel consumption.
It should be reminded here that the normal tire pressure is around 2.5bar. If the original car has tire pressure monitoring function, you should pay attention to it, and if not, you can install it.
4, engine carbon deposition
Don’t blindly feel that only engines with a long history will produce carbon deposits. If the engine is idling, running at a low speed and running at a high load for a long time, carbon deposits will easily occur. These carbon deposits will roughen the inner wall of the intake pipe, which will affect the intake effect and the quality of oil-gas mixing, and the fuel consumption will naturally increase.
5, air filter clogging
The oil change and three filters mentioned in the maintenance process refer to: air filter, air conditioner filter and oil filter.
The air filter plays a role in filtering the air when the engine is intake. If it is blocked, it will not only increase the air resistance and reduce the power of the engine, but even cause carbon deposition and increase fuel consumption. Moreover, the inferior air filter will also make the engine inhale dust and impurities, causing unnecessary wear and tear of the engine.
6, battery power loss
Most people may not think that the battery has anything to do with fuel consumption. In fact, the power supply is closely related to the oil circuit.
Usually, when the battery is used for 2-3 years, it will lose power. The lack of battery power will affect all electronic equipment in the car, and the engine will have the phenomena of weak ignition, insufficient combustion and unstable idle speed, which will inevitably affect fuel consumption. So when you find that there is a power shortage, you should maintain the car in time.

It can be seen that the increase in fuel consumption depends not only on the design of its own car, but also on some details of daily driving, car use and even maintenance.
